JEFFREY L. TUCKER was born in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1967 and grew up in Cobb County. A 1989 graduate of Duke University where he was elected to membership in Phi Beta Kappa, he received his law degree magna cum laude from the College of Law at Georgia State University in 1997, at which time he was admitted to the bar in Georgia. With wide-ranging academic interests, he has earned advanced degrees in philosophy from the University of Chicago, and from Yale University, where he taught in Yale College and was awarded numerous prizes and fellowships for distinguished scholarship. He is Assistant City Attorney for the City of Smyrna, Georgia. In addition, his practice includes estate planning, fiduciary administration, and matters of corporate entity formation and governance. He has extensive experience with wills, the planning and administration of estates throughout the probate process, and corporate matters of all kinds, including the special needs of multi-generational family businesses.
